Medi Harris – who has been selected to swim for the National Youth Team under 15. Medi is ranked in the top 10 in the UK and is extremely well ranked in Wales.

tim rygbi merched Ysgol Eifionydd girls rugby team have excelled once again by winning the Gwynedd and Môn schools tournament. They have won the title for the second time running, beating Ysgol Botwnnog 20 points to 0 in the semi final and beating Ysgol Dyffryn Ogwen 15 points to 0 in the final. Cassia Pike who is also an International football player was recognised as the player of the tournament. Congratulations to Cassia and the team who was captained by Siwan Owen.



tim rygbi bl 9 a 10 Ysgol Eifionydd year 10 boys rugby team have reached the final of the Eryri Shield. The team beat Ysgol Y Gader in the quarter final final by 42 points to 12 and went on to play Ysgol Tryfan in the semi final beating them 35 points to 0. The boys will play John Bright on the 6/5/15 at the Caernarfon rugby playing field where the boys will hopefully retain their title.

Gwion Jones who is in year 8 at Ysgol Eifionydd who has recently been selected to play hockey for the under 13’s North Wales boys team. He will be playing in the Regional tournament in Nottingham on the 12th of May. Congratulations Gwion.

Medi Harris from Ysgol Eifionydd who has succeeded to win 9 gold medals in the National Swimming Competitions.



tim pel droed merched Ysgol Eifionydd Year 9 and 10 girls football team whom have won the Welsh Schools Cup for the last 3 consecutive years but were unsuccessful in retaining their title this year in a dramatic final against Cardiff High last month. This was the first game for the girls to lose throughout four football seasons at Ysgol Eifionydd, this is some achievement. To reach the finals the girls convincingly won Ysgol Syr Hugh, Ysgol Botwnnog, Ysgol Glan y Môr, Ysgol Llangefni, Ysgol Preseli and Ysgol Prestatyn.



shannon a cassia Shannon Dukes a Cassia Pike have been selected to play for the u15s Welsh girls football team. They made their debut in the Bob Docherty Tournament in Scotland last month and have since travelled to the Faroe Islands to compete, winning 2 of their 3 matches. They also have been selected to play with the under 17’s squad next week in Cardiff.



athletwyr 17 pupils from Ysgol Eifionydd have competed in a variety of athletic events and have come either first or second in their competition against pupils from Meirionnydd and Dwyfor schools. The athletes will travel to Treborth Athletic Fields to compete against the winners from the Eryri area next week.
